Currently I am creating a new body of work using doilies, seeds, clothing pattern illustrations, hooks and eyes, lace, and women's dresses. In my studio I see these objects as maps to the Feminine Psyche, Biology, Unconscious, and Mythology. In my studio I am both artist and archaeologist, pulling these maps out from under layers of culturally imposed meaning, and revealing their true nature and power.
